Usher Buys A “Golden Retriever Mix” At Auction For $12,000

There are so many things wrong with this post I don’t know where to begin.

First of all, if you read my blog, you know how I feel about these “goldendoodle” dogs that some people consider to be breeds and pay large amounts of money for (those poor mislead souls)

Second, what kind of breeder auctions off their puppies?  Forget I asked, there are far too many to even begin to count.

Usher attended the Pencils for Promise Gala in New York The charity builds schools in Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.  This sounds like a great cause and all, but couldn’t they find something else to auction off?

  1. Right there with you! We had three 6 month old pups come into our shelter because one of the volunteers had been at a furniture auction when suddenly the pups appeared for sale. She was so horrified that she quickly bought them and, luckily, we were able to re-home them but who, in their right minds, auctions off puppies???? They were stunning Irish Setters but complete emotional wrecks when they came in. The world is a most baffling place!

  2. You know, if Usher takes care of the dog for the rest of his life, I’ll call it good. I don’t agree with it, but it’s done.
