Dog Whisperer Says Stolen Golden Retrievers Still Alive

Just a few hours North of Toronto, Brian Jones is waiting patiently to hear news of his two golden retrievers, who were last seen on March 2nd while playing in the front yard in Coldwater, Ontario.

Rosa, 18 months,  and Diego, 9 months were both purchased in Mexico where the Jones’ reside in the winter months.  Jones advised the dogs did not have collars on at the time as they get caught in the wire fence.  The dogs were spayed/neutered and Diego is micro chipped.

The incident was reported to the Ontario Provincial Police, who says these types of thefts are not common in the area, but believe the dogs have been stolen.

Jones has spend approximately $3000 in his search for the dogs, even hiring a “dog whisperer” and a mentallist from the US, as well as putting up posters.  A $1000 reward is being offered for the dogs.

The dog whisperer says the dogs have been stolen, and were brought “North” , “to a community that starts with the letter T” and will be returned.

Gary Meets The Dog Whisperer

Jimmy Fallon’s new golden retriever puppy, a female he named “Gary” has become quite the celebrity pooch. She made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night with Cesar Millan where Jimmy got some pointers on calming her down. Everyone is falling in love with her and hopefully Jimmy will keep us up to date as she grows up and maybe even have her as a regular guest.

Gary even got a huge bone from Cesar for being a good girl.  Last night Fallon tweeted@cesarmillan gave my dog a treat. It’s bigger than her!!!”

Product “Fail” Sport Trainer endorsed by Cesar Millan

Tucker got a few new toys yesterday as he has outgrown his “puppy” toys.  One of the items we purchased was called a “Sport Trainer” from Cesar Millan’s product line.

As you can see, its a football shaped toy with a ribbon type handle attached.  Nowhere on the packaging does it suggest what type of “sport” you are supposed to play with this thing.  I also checked Cesar’s website, no sign of this toy.

Needless to say, the “handle” was gone within minutes.  Other reviews I have read also complain that this toy only lasted one day.  The football itself was still intact today, and Tucker carries it around like a teddy bear, but I fear it is only a matter of time before I am picking up the stuffing from all over the house.

Dear Cesar, please take some consideration in the products you put your name on…

Has anyone else made the mistake of purchasing one of these “dog toys”?  I can’t even imagine this thing holding up with a small dog.  If the handle isn’t for “tugging” what is it for??  Anyone?
