Retired K9 Golden Retriever Bosco dies..

A retired K9 hero has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  Bosco retired from The Polk County Sheriffs Office in Minnesota in 2009 and lived out his final years at his owner/handler’s home, Ret. Deputy David Emanuel. He was 11 years old.

Bosco joined the force in 2003 and served as a narcotics dog as well as a tracking/search dog.  He was a pillar in his community, often attending parades, school activities and demonstrations.

Thank you for your service Bosco.  You will be surely missed by the citizens of Polk County.
