A golden retriever named Cutie was sleeping outside on the porch when he was attacked by a cougar on Wed Sept 19th in North Bend, Washington.  The owner explained he heard the dog yelping around 3 am and looked out and saw his companion of 15 years being dragged into the woods by the large cat.

The next morning they found what was left of “Cutie” buried under some brush.  Cutie was brought home in a tarp with the help of a neighbor. The cougar is still at large and area residents are concerned.
