Jimmy Fallon says Gary, his new golden retriever puppy, is the first dog he has ever had.  Gary is a girl and Fallon’s new best friend.  Jimmy tweeted a picture of the puppy with the caption “This is my new puppy. Her name is Gary. She’s my new best friend”

Earlier tonight at the Emmy’s, Fallon gushed to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet about his new bundle of joy.  He likened the experience to having a baby, minus the diapers, and said Gary was at home watching the show.
